This month’s spotlight is on Erika Briceno, class on 2007.  Erika has already made her mark at Southern Methodist University located in Dallas, Texas. She is currently a sophomore and the student body secretary, a position she was elected to as a freshman. As a member of the Student Senate, she has been involved in several activities. According to Erika, the best thing about being secretary is her involvement in the “Guest Speakers Series.” One of the most interesting speakers she had the opportunity to meet and have lunch with was Tony Blair, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. 

Erika is working very hard by majoring in both international relations and French with a double minor in human rights and Chinese. Erika is also the recipient of the Hunt’s scholarship.
